Application

The cartridge has injection moulded end caps that are bonded to the media and an O-ring on the outlet end. This promotes longer cartridge life and therefore better fuel efficiency.

As the cartridge removes water and/or impurities from the incoming fuel, there is an increase in differential pressure and a decrease in flow. These changes are the result of flow restriction caused by the retention of contaminants or the absorption of water into the media. The frequency of replacement of these cartridges depends on the amount of water or dirt contained in the fuel.
